BLOG
If you clicked on this button because you want to read my blog out of genuine interest and curiosity, you will be disappointed. Sorry about that but thanks anyway.
If you clicked out of obligation or sense of loyalty toward me, you will be relieved.
As you can see, there is no blog. And, there won’t be any.
I have nothing against blogs or people who write them. However, I don’t feel the need to express my personal views, likes and dislikes in these online diaries-cum-political soapboxes. Cyberspace is already crowded enough as is with all kinds of musings, only a small fraction of which are truly interesting or relevant to my life (or anyone’s life for that matter, except the author’s).
There is also another reason why a blog is not part of my master plan. I spend several hours every day writing for a living, a process that does not exactly fall under the category of “back-breaking labor,” but it does require a certain degree of concentration, creative energy and, at times, funky, out-of-the-box thinking.
When I am finished, the last thing I want to do in my free time is write some more.
Does that make sense to you? It makes perfect sense to me!
So now you know: I am not a blogger, and that is a good thing. Why? Because the time I would have to spend constantly updating my blog, I can put to better use writing or editing your material.
